Description Rafael Linux User 2017-07-10 11:35:01 UTC
I was working using Dolphin and Krusader serveral years using ftp connections without any problem. In my network there is a proxy. Than proxy is avoided for internal ftp servers excluding those servers for proxy (I included 10.0.0.0/8 in proxy exceptions). In any case, if I do an update with official repos for OpenSUSE Tumbleweed, I lost any possibility to make an FTP thru Dolphin or Krusader. I know this is a OpenSUSE / KDE related issue cause if I use Filezilla, I get ftp access as previosly to update my system.

I try several updates. Some of them throw an "Unable to change to folder ..." and latest updates launch an "the proxy type is invalid for this operation", when I try to get ftp access.

Any ideas? (I lastly work over a rollback to get work as always with my ftp servers)

Thank you

I discovered that, despite I have proxy only for HTTP and HTTPS (and left FTP only with "http://" as all this years ago), if I disable "Enable proxy", ftp is working but not http and https, obviously, so is clear there is a bug similar to bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=154098 or https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=230367 .

Please, fix this bug.

Thank you

Now I discovered another related problem: I can READ from smb remote folders, but now I CAN'T WRITE. When I try to copy (overwrite) a file from Nautilus (ftp connection) to Dolphin (smb connection), Dolphin shows "Can't connect to
