Created attachment 106472 [details] screenshot Instead it shows the folders in both lists, see attached image. Both lists are even synchronized, unchecking a folder in one list removes the checkmark in the other one too. Selecting a folder in the left list results in an empty left list. This makes it impossible to edit or remove bookmarks. I'm using marble 17.04.2 here.
Same here. openSUSE Meap 42.3 RPM package 17.04.2-3.1. Strange, this looks too severe to get ignored for half a year…
Sorry, Leap not Meap, hehe!
I can confirm this on Debian (version 2.2.20 (2.3 development version), KDE Frameworks 5.44.0, Qt 5.9.2 (built against 5.9.2)). I remember being able to use bookmarks correctly sometime before having more than one bookmarks folder.
Same thing here: Marble Virtual Globe Version 2.2.20 (2.3 development version) KDE Frameworks 5.47.0 Qt 5.9.4 (built against 5.9.4) The xcb windowing system all under Fedora 27.
Can't edit, delete, move bookmarks to other folders. Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20190814 KDE Plasma Version: 5.16.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.60.0 Qt Version: 5.13.0 Kernel Version: 5.2.8-1-default OS Type: 64-bit Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i5-4590 CPU @ 3.30GHz Memory: 15,5 GiB
Same behavior on Ubuntu 18.04 Version 2.2.20 (2.3 development version) This has some serious ramifications: - You can not delete a placemark, unless you create a separate folder for each placemark and delete the entire folder - You cannot edit a placemark once created - You cannot move a placemark once created. This is a big problem when the placemark corresponds to something that moves in real life such as a vehicle that doesn't have APRS tracking. You should be able to drag a placemark (perhaps right click and select "move" to unlock) and you should be able to edit the coordinates. It has been over two years since this bug was reported.
