Screenshot of Opendesktop.org Electron App

As the title states, this is a request for KDE Neon to ship an enabled Opendesktop.org App and change the default settings to point to store.kde.org. Doing so would easily enlighten KDE Plasma users towards an easy and user-friendly way to install things like

* Wallpapers
* Icon packs
* Look and Feel Themes
* Plasma Widgets
* etc, etc.

About the app: "Using the App allows you to directly “Install” items by clicking on the “Install” button of a file, as well as Manage the downloaded items under “My Collection”.
Starting with wallpapers, it is also now possibly to directly “Apply” a downloaded item within the App, so it is then set as current background under most Linux distros and desktop environments."

I believe this is an Electron app, basically wrapping the Opendesktop.org sites into a launchable application which gives it many advantages over assuming a user is aware of store.kde.org to begin with, as there is no reference to it in Neon. This leaves only KGHNS as the featured way, which of course has the tragic limitation of not allowing a user to install files if they are hosted on a 3rd party site.

I am aware that this is not a native Plasma application, and can be easily dismissed for not including in Neon based on this fact alone. However, exceptions are made for usability-purposes (i.e. Firefox), and to me this would also fit that bill.

It also has a (somewhat) consistent look to the newer Plasma applications using the Kirigami framework such as Discover and the upcoming new System Settings revamp.

This could also fix bug 331162, by allowing Marble users to have direct access to maps hosted on Opendektop.org.
