Since a recent update (unfortunately I don't remember the exact version, probably 5.10.2), plasma started using very hight amount of CPU (htop shows around 80% o a quad core machine). At first, simply restarting plasma corrected the problem, but now the CPU usage lingers even after restarting. It doesn't matter what applications are open (even if none), it starts right after boot.

I don't use any measuring widgets, my only widgets are two panels with task manager, systray and application menu. I use two monitors, one being external and one laptop screen (hence the two panels).

I realize there is several similar bugs, but since this started happening recently and it has slightly different behaviour than the other reports, I chose to file a new bug.

Also, please let me know what additional info or commands output I might provide, I will try to be as much assistance as possible.
