Created attachment 106273 [details] Selection of attributes shown in icon view in gThumb. It would be nice to be able to show more attributes in icon view, especially camera make and model. This is very useful when dealing with pictures taken by different people with different cameras. gThumb has a very nice way of doing this where the user can select almost any metadata they want to be displayed (cf attachment).
Use Icon tool tip instead where make/model info can be displayed. There is no plan to extend info printed below icon item. This take to much place and break the layout. It's not optimum. Gilles Caulier
Gilles, I saw that it could be displayed in the tool tips, but it's a lot less convenient to have to hover over every single picture rather than seeing them all at once. I also think it would be more useful than aspect ratio. Finally since these are all check boxes, the user can decide how much or how little to display. I'm hoping you'll reconsider your position.
