Do these 2 files intentionally have a higher license (GPL-2+ instead of LGPL-2+)? Files: src/qtquick/PropertyContainer.cpp src/qtquick/PropertyContainer.h Copyright: 2012, Dan Leinir Turthra Jensen <admin@leinir.dk> Overall license may end up being GPL-3 (or LGPL-3 if those 2 files are able to be relicensed to LGPL-2.1+).
Discussion regarding this copyright/licence issue can be found here https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1663675
Not really, no - thank you for reporting it as well! As the copyright of them is entirely mine, i'll relicense them to equalise with the rest of the code and let that be it (there's no particularly good reason for it to be not-lgpl anyway)

Will you make a new release with this commit included?
Not for the 1.x series, but the commit is self-contained and /should/ apply to the old code without issue, if you want to grab the commit and use it as a patch for packaging. The next release will be 2.0 (possibly with a beta ahead, but that's the next release).
