Sometimes, when changing activity via keyboard shortcut, the focus remains in the last window used in the precedent activity. This result, for example, in: - writing some text in a chat - changing activity - writing a command in a terminal, maybe also user/password - ...discovering that all of that was written after changing activity is gone over the chat %-D
Can't reproduce this bug in: Distribution: KDE neon Developer Edition - Stable Branches Plasma: 5.11.3 Frameworks: 5.41.0 Qt: 5.9.1 Kernel 4.10.0-38-generic Type: 64-bit
Can confirm this happens. I think it may be related to the "Remember the current virtual desktop for each activity (needs restart)", as looks like the problem is triggered more often when switching activities also makes the desktop switch: the focused window in the later desktop on the former activity receives the focus while not shown (as the window shown is the focused window on the later desktop on the later activity). Focus Stealing Prevention is None, and Focus policy is Click to Focus.
This issue report is quite old. Can you please confirm, that it still persists with KDE 5.23?
