Hi, 

I'm trying some search in kmail. The search still empty. The folder of the search has been created but the search result still empty like the folder of search.

5.1.3 is very old.
We fixed a lot of bugs in new version
see 5.5.x.

sudo apt install kmail

kmail is already the newest version (4:15.12.3-0ubuntu1).0 upgraded, 0 newly 


What shoudl I do more?

15.12.3 is 5.1.3 => too old :)
You need to verify with new kmail version 17.04 for example :)

Please ask in a forum of your distribution how to update to newer KDE software.
