it happens on Arch running plasma 5.10.2 under Wayland.
Still happening plasma 5.11 qt 5.9.2
A tray of what?
Right click on any system tray icon, the menu will appear in a wrong position. Now not always the menu appears on top of screen, sometimes it appears on middle of screen.

This bug is still happening on Arch (plasma 5.11.2) and neon dev unstable.
This bug is still happening with tray icons of applications. Icons of plasma are not affected. open ktorrent and close it to system tray open another window (dolphin, for example) right click on ktorrent icon in system tray menu opens on top of the screen It does not happen if all windows are minimized Tested with qbittorrent too, same result. Tested on neon dev unstable, Wayland session.
Arch Linux + qt 5.10 rc3 is affected too. Its situation is even worst because tray icons of plasma are also affected. The menu of plasma system tray icons opens in some wrong position (sometimes on top of the screen, sometimes lower left corner) when some window is open and focused.
Can reproduce on Debian Unstable and Experimental: KWin 5.11.4 Plasma 5.11.4 Qt 5.9.2
Can reproduce this on latest KDE Neon User (5.11.5) Context menu appears on the top left of the first screen support information: https://pastebin.com/PKy0PiwL
Same problem here, Chakra OS and plasma 5.12.1 just installed.
On neon dev unstable the context menus from icons in system tray are not opening on top of screen anymore, but they overlap the system tray. Under X11 the same menus appear above the system tray.
(In reply to Dr. Chapatin from comment #11) > On neon dev unstable the context menus from icons in system tray are not > opening on top of screen anymore, but they overlap the system tray. > Under X11 the same menus appear above the system tray. same thing in plasma 5.13 beta, Arch Linux.
Context menu of icons from the system tray are not opening on top of the screen anymore. I will open a new bug about the context menus overlapping the system tray under Wayland.
