(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kcontrol
Version: KDE 2.9.2
Severity: normal
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

The Options "fading menus" "fading tooltips" and "animated comboboxes" that where in the style-module of kcontrol are gone and I couldn't find them in another place of kcontrol. But they can still be found in the Desktop Settings Wizard and do work as before. So I think nobody would run the Desktop Settings Wizard only for changing one of these Options. I like the redesign of all the kcontrol modules very much and apreciate that kcontrol needs less space on the desktop now and that no elements are hidden any more but I think in the style-module was enough place for those three options.
