Description Albrecht Will 2017-06-07 13:41:48 UTC
Usually the export provides clear csv-files. I will demonstrate in an example, that there must be a bug.

Hello Albrecht, thanks for the report.
Tested with Kexi 3.0.2, I'll send you the exported file Lehrertabelle_neu_2.csv. It can be even imported back into Kexi, I will send it too (table Lehrertabelle_neu_21), the only issue we have is from bug #349706 - we don't support importing columns of Object types.

Any further comments from you are welcome, maybe I should go back to 3.0.1 exactly.
Can you try the AppImage version?

Comment 6 Albrecht Will 2018-12-30 09:26:49 UTC
My last version of kexi is 3.1.0 for a long time. In this time I was not able to export any table, because kexi crashes in any case. This bug must be reported.

Can you imagine how much I am frustrated.
Because I've got no experience to build from source I'm waiting urgently for a new version in the repos of Arch or a new appimage.
Comment 7 Jarosław Staniek 2018-12-30 13:01:23 UTC
Hello Albrecht, I am sorry for infrequent releases in 2018, will try to improve in 2019. No bug report is abandoned (regarding these Service messages about NEEDSINFO).

Have you got any issues in 3.1 - regarding my Comment #1?
Comment 8 Albrecht Will 2018-12-30 13:19:51 UTC
Hi Jaroslaw,
in the actuell version I cannot reproduce older issues. If I would have a better one, I surely will contribute to the bug-report again.
Because of crashes any trial on my side is obsolet.
I will load up a kexi-db
https://www.magentacloud.de/share/ofet1xiviq
Please try by yourself to make an export into csv or clipbord.
And the another essential long-time bug in my version is DATE. You can find my appropriate reports.
