Hello, (Foreword: since I don't think it's a bug I've categorized it as a "wishlist" item... sorry if it doesn't fit that category). I made a mistake a few weeks ago while saving a posting (categorizing a transfer as a "normal" posting), and I just see it now. Of course, meanwhile, I've "validated" the corresponding posting. Now if I try to delete that posting, I get a warning message telling me I shouldn't. I understand that it shouldn't have happened in the first place, and I should have paid more attention to what I was validating, but if I want to fix that I'm stuck with few options here: - either I delete this entry, but I've no idea if it could lead to inconsistent data (as the message seems suggesting); - or I keep that entry and add a new one "neutralizing" it. Is deleting a validated posting "safe" enough (both technically and functionnaly) in that case ? Thanks in advance for any guidance on that matter,
Hi, This error is displayed when you are trying to delete a reconciliated operation because the deletion with invalidate the previous reconciliation. Of course, if you know what you do (a recovery after an error) you can force the deletion.
Hello, Many thanks for the advice. I did delete the bad operation and, as you said, I just had to reconcile the account. Regards,
