When the "Scan" button is pressed, the scanner seems to work but after the scan mechanism finish no preview is shown and the saved document is almost blank.

Platform: GNU Parabola (similar to Arch)

Thanks for the report.

This looks quite a lot like a backend(driver) problem.

What version of sane are you using and what scanner?

Are you getting the same problem with x-sane?
