Description avi 2002-02-12 13:10:18 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: ksysguard
Version: 1.1.0 (using KDE 2.2.2 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-98)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.16
OS/Compiler notes:

I have two hard disks /dev/hda and /dev/hde as well as a cd-rom /dev/hdd.
However ksysguard only shows sensors for hd 3:0 (hda).

(Submitted via bugs.kde.org)
(Called from KBugReport dialog. Fields KDE Version manually changed)

That seems to be ok

Where exactly doesn't ksysguard show the disk?
In the SensorBrowser (tree on the left side) under 'Partition Usage' or
under 'Disk Througput' or in the WorkSheet (when dragging the
'Partition Usage->Table' sensor on it?

Ciao

Well if it's not in /proc/stat ksysguardd will fail to get it. So can I
close the bug report?

Under Disk Throughpt I have 3:0 but not 33:0 which I would expect:

~/mi> ls -l /dev/hde
brw-rw---- 1 root disk 33 0 Aug 30 23:30 /dev/hde

Anyway cat /proc/stat doesn't show (330) either. I'm beginning to think
this is a driver problem not KDE.
