From time to time this happens, the names of the program's menu and some functions are unrecognizable, but not all of them are appended. Just what the user sees.

My operating system is:
Linux mint 18.1 x64 KDE: 4.14.22

Are you using NVIDIA hardware the proprietary drivers, and does this happen after waking the computer from sleep/suspend?
