Created attachment 105643 [details] attachment-5954-0.html Hi Elvis, Sorry, I am not a computer person, but I will try to explain the best I can. Every time I go to File Manager and click on a picture on the folder Pictures, the file with the picture I try to open starts repeating forever. When I try to close it I cannot do it just continue repeating again and again. I only can turn the computer off. The problem is that I don't want to lose my pictures. Sometimes I can return back and the situation continues and I have to turn the computer off more than one time. Once I return back and it is stable, I have to close the file one by one. Thank you, Beatriz On Fri, May 19, 2017 at 10:10 AM, Elvis Angelaccio <bugzilla_noreply@kde.org > wrote: > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380009 > > Elvis Angelaccio <elvis.angelaccio@kde.org> changed: > > What |Removed |Added > ------------------------------------------------------------ > ---------------- > Resolution|--- |WAITINGFORINFO > Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEEDSINFO > CC| |elvis.angelaccio@kde.org > > --- Comment #1 from Elvis Angelaccio <elvis.angelaccio@kde.org> --- > Please describe exactly what you were doing. > > -- > You are receiving this mail because: > You reported the bug.
Thanks for the reply. Which program is being used to open the pictures? (right-click the file and check the first entry of the "Open With" sub-menu)
Created attachment 105653 [details] attachment-27486-0.html Hi, Elvis, When I open the Application Launcher, I go to Applications, then to File Manager, next to diazbeat-Dolphin, then to Pictures and it is there when the mess is done. When I started the computer today the front page was the repetition of the picture folder many, many times. I tried to turn it off many times and at some point I could control it but the picture exist repeated many times and it is worse. I don't know if I responded your question. Thank you so much, Beatriz On Sat, May 20, 2017 at 1:03 AM, Elvis Angelaccio <bugzilla_noreply@kde.org> wrote: > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380009 > > --- Comment #3 from Elvis Angelaccio <elvis.angelaccio@kde.org> --- > Thanks for the reply. Can you attach a screenshot of the problem? (press the PrintScreen key on your keyboard)

Sorry that we have not updated this report in a long time... We are sadly not able to view your screenshot, as this is only a link to your personal GMail account. Please follow these steps: 1. Ensure that your system is fully updated. You should be running Ubuntu 18.04 by now, which also ships with a newer version of Dolphin (the file manager). 2. Try to reproduce this bug. 3. If this bug occurs, take a screen shot (by pressing PrintScreen on your keyboard) 4. Then, visit this bug report (the link is https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380009) and click the "Add an attachment" link just above the comment box. Upload your screen shot from step 3. 5. We should now be able to further investigate this issue & create a fix for it. If the bug does not happen anymore, this is of course great! In this case, simply add a comment that you cannot reproduce this bug anymore and we'll take care of the rest. Thanks for reporting this bug & have a nice day :)
Hello Beatriz, have you been able to test this again? It'd be great if we could help you if the problem still exists, but we need some more information to be able to triage this bug further. Thanks!
No response -> closing. Please reopen the report if you still experience this problem with a newer version of Dolphin. Thanks!
