Description craig 2017-05-18 05:38:37 UTC
Hey guys,

I am using a stock Dell Latitude E7240 with an i7 vPro and 8Gb of Ram on Neon Dev Edition 5.9.95. I have always run Neon without any issue. But since the recent release of Plasma 5.9.95 I am experiencing massive amounts of lag. Namely with Rhythmbox and with Konsole. Both of which will freeze for up to a minute before performing a task.

I have noticed that I have a number of kwin packages that are held back for some reason. I'm not sure if this is contributing to the issue? Below is the output of an apt upgrade.

Thanks in advance!

craig@craig:~$ sudo apt upgrade

Can you still reproduce the issue?
Comment 2 Andrew Crouthamel 2018-11-06 00:30:57 UTC
Hi there, could you please respond the the prior comment?
Comment 3 craig 2018-11-08 09:25:33 UTC
Hi Andrew,

I am on 5.14.3 now, I have not had the issue since I made this post.
If I recall correctly, I either forced the update or waited until there were no long dependency issues and the problem went away.
