(not sure if imgur saves images forever)

I download a compressed file with firefox and open it with ark. I decompress it in location (Downloads folder) and now I want to open it with my standard file manager.
I would like to have a fast option to open the location of the archive with my file manager.

Currently I have to navigate to the location manually, or alternatively use the path in the archive properties (which is slow and cumbersome).

A simple fix would be to add an option on right-clicking the background (here: http://imgur.com/79l5Lu9) to open the archive location in the file manager.

https://docs.kde.org/trunk5/en/kdeutils/ark/ark-extract.html#ark-extract-dialog reads in section Extracting Files:
[...]
You may also choose to open the destination folder in Dolphin or close Ark once the extraction is complete.

Location of what? It seems you are referring to the location of the archive (which may be different from the location the archive was extracted to), but if that's the case I don't get why you would want to open the file manager there.

Burkhard Lueck:
Thank you, that was exactly what I was looking for. I am sorry it didn't occur to me to look in the extracting dialog.
