Small windows force constant resizing or scrolling

When I open many of the KDE sc programs (like Kate, Kwrite, settings) they open in very small windows, I have 1980 by 1080 pixels yet, as can be seen in the attached screenshot, "per activity Power Management" (for example) opens in a tiny window forcing met to scroll or resize to see the third option.

This happens so often while using KDE that I decided to file this bug.

Please report these issues individually for each application or dialog.

Reassigning to powerdevil developers as per screen shot.

Ok, will do. But are you sure? It is happening with almost all apps in plasma. Do they really all make the same mistake?
