ktp.webm

Chat window in ktp-text-ui automatically scrolls to the bottom. Once there is enough text for scrollbar to appear, the whole text starts oscillating up and down as ktp-text-ui attempts to scroll down. Also trying to manually scroll up doesn't work, scroll bar immediately jumps down.

I have the same problem since a few weeks. I am on OpenSUSE TW, currently on 20170602 with Plasma 5.10.0, kde framework 5.34.0, Qt 5.7.1.

Then the text oscillates, I see the following two processes occupying a lot of CPU:

CPU RAM COMMAND
19.12 2.466 /usr/lib64/qt5/libexec/QtWebEngineProcess --type=renderer --disable-accelerated-video-decode --enable-threaded-compositing --u+
17.65 2.238 /usr/lib64/libexec/ktp-text-ui

Even when non oscillating it is not possible to scroll upwards.
The oscillations that I see (and the processes involved) is very similar to the visual feedback that I get when the scroll bar hits the lower limit and I keep turning the mouse wheel.

I've tried another style and this does the trick maybe the style is the issue.
For reference it was the Andium Hangouts style.

Can't check this as ktp is completely broken for me, I can't even sign in into my account.

I haven't checked the bug but I would think that it still broken in the
current release.
