If you scale up ui settings, and then change to laptop monitor, you will no longer be able to access apply button or even scale ui button.

Also, unplugging won't lead to desktop behaving as if there's only one screen, which is what makes this grave since you have to disable the monitor which will then lead to you not being able to plug it in again and access monitor on higher DPI.

That is if you start the app by itself outside system settings.
