Description Matthias 2017-05-10 08:01:50 UTC
Hi there - the Opera people refuse currently to reoffer (they did it in the past) the kfiledialog as potential Filedialog, as its currently not able to save the complete webpage, so including all the pictures and so on.
Comment 1 Christoph Feck 2017-05-30 10:26:11 UTC
Please be more specific. Do they want to use the "kdialog" command line tool, or do they link to KDE libraries and use "KFileDialog" directly? Both support specifying the list of MIME types, for kdialog see bug 378295 comment #2.

The recommended way is to just use the Qt file dialog, which also allows MIME filters. On Plasma environments, the KDE file dialog is then used automatically.
Comment 2 Matthias 2017-05-31 12:26:31 UTC
Opera refuse to use KFileDialog, until the option to save the whole webside is available. I dont know, how to do this. I just want to use the KDE Filedialog in Opera, thats all.
Comment 3 Christoph Feck 2017-06-06 18:43:49 UTC
As I said, the option is available. We probably need more information from Opera developers what exactly they were trying, and what did not work.
Comment 4 Matthias 2017-06-07 07:53:22 UTC
You are sure, that we both mean the same thing?
Because if yes, is Google doing it also incompetent.

I mean the download of the whole webpage, including JavaScript and so on.

I will ask the Opera devs.

Did you already point them to comment #1?
Comment 6 Matthias 2017-06-21 01:29:26 UTC
