Steps: 1. "Mount" SFTP filesystem via Dolphin. (Using a public key added via ssh-add previously) 2. Go into a folder on this filesystem. 3. Click on a file in dolphin Okular shows a password dialog. When dialog was closed, dolphin print a error message in this form: sftp://[…] kann nicht geöffnet werden. Der Grund lautet: The host key for the server sdicke.thatip.net has changed. This could either mean that DNS SPOOFING is happening or the IP address for the host and its host key have changed at the same time. The fingerprint for the key sent by the remote host is: […]". Another KDE application are able to open files from the same filesystem.
Which other application? That version of Okular is kdelibs4-based, maybe you are using the Qt5 version of Dolphin?
gwenview and kate each in version 16.08.3 (compiled again Qt 5.7.1).
Does it still happens to you with a recent copy of okular? With Versión 1.6.70, KDE Frameworks 5.53.0, Qt 5.11.2 and xcb it works for me. NOTE: This bug will be automatically closed if no information is given within a month.
