Description telmo silva 2017-05-05 14:51:31 UTC
Just as the title says, when clicking on the play button krita crashes wether it is on an empty document or an actual animation.

I am using SolusOS Gnome Edition on a HP Pavilion x360 13.3"

Is this with the appimage, or did you build Krita yourself, or is it a build your distro provides.
Comment 2 telmo silva 2017-05-05 15:37:19 UTC
It is from the repo. I run krita with the terminal and it reports to be a segmentation error
Comment 3 telmo silva 2017-05-05 15:40:10 UTC
Just downloaded the appimage and the situation remains the same. The terminal reports segumentation fault

Which repo? Please try to install debug symbols and generate a backtrace. I suspect there's a broken brush or setting somewhere on your system, but the first thing we need is a backtrace.

Hi, telmo silva!

Please enter Settings->Preferences->Display and activate openGL. There is a bug in the latest builds that prevents playback with openGL disabled :(

The bug is already fixed in the source code, we just need new builds...

Hi Telmo,

Can you please check the latest version of Krita, and see if you can reproduce the bug.

For now I am going to close this bug report. If you cstill have the same issue please re-open this bug report.
