Description smihael 2017-05-05 09:12:23 UTC
My camera is set to produce both JPG and NEF files and it bugs me that I have to go through each image twice in Gwenview when I just want to make a quick overview of the photos shot. While I can do filtering by name (Browse mode->Add filter->Name contains JPG and then switch back to the View mode), it would be much more user friendly if there would be a setting which filetypes to show in Gwenview at all (just as this was possible for previews in Konqueror in KDE 3 times), especially since filter settings don't persist when reopening Gwenview.

Would you consider this solved if bug 373405 was working again? It should be easier to fix than create a complete new UI to exclude file types.

It would help, if 373405 was solved, but UI to configure
BlackListedExtensions would be nice as well.
