Description wizard10000 2017-05-03 14:34:58 UTC
Wishlist item - I use the classic desktop menu in Plasma 5.9.5 and would like the ability to manually sort the applications I stick in this menu.

For example, dolphin comes up first on the menu even though I'd prefer it was google-chrome and shutdown is in the bottom third of the application list although I'd really like to have it at the bottom.

Coming from fluxbox and openbox my workflow is kinda used to having my top ten applications on a right-click menu in the order I specify. Can we add an option to manually sort these items if the user doesn't want to sort by name or description?

Thank you -

Do you mean the favorites or the applications in the submenus?

I was speaking specifically about favorites, sorry - but both would be nice :)

Personal preference but I've used *box long enough that I've become addicted to having my top ten applications on a right-click menu. I can do that with KDE's classic desktop menu but I can't sort the favorites the way I'd like.

Not a big deal, but I'd really like to have most-used apps toward the top and a shutdown entry at the bottom. A manual sort would be handy. Thanks -

Favorites can be moved around by drag and drop.
