Description philippe.quaglia 2017-05-02 17:11:44 UTC
I try to use AppImage bundle because Philip PPA is currently not updated with latest digikam. However, the appimage does not find the files needed for Hugin to work. There is a window asking to give the path to the needed files, but the path given is not taken into consideration. Therefore, it is not possible to use the panorama tool with appimage package.

The problem must be fixed with 5.6.0 AppImage pre-release available here :

Yes, it works well. Many thanks !

The «export to remote folder» function has been removed until it works again ? Is there another mean to copy an image to another folder ?
Best regards.

yes, Remote storage tool is disabled in AppImage. It fact KIO dependencies do not work at run time. An alternative need to be found to replace it.

Q : Does Panorama tool work as expected to stitch images together ? Which Hugin version do you use exactly ?

HEllo, Hugin version is: 2016.2.0.be8da0221960
Every thing works fine, the panorama is created as expected.
Thanks for this really fast resolution.
