BUG DISCOVERED USING: Kdenlive 17.07.70 via ppa:kdenlive/kdenlive-master Ubuntu GNOME 17.04 x64 GNOME 3.24.0 desktop environment MLT 6.5.0 KDE Frameworks 5.31.0 Qt 5.7.1
Hello, I am experiencing the same behaviour with Kdenlive 17.08.2 The konsole output is: floating point exception (core dumped) kdenlive On Archlinux MLT 6.4.1 KDE Frameworks 5.39.0 Qt 5.9.2 (built against 5.9.2)
Backtrace is not very clear. I cannot reproduce on my side. Can you check with our latest AppImage which contains latest version of MLT and vid.stab to see if problem is also present ? AppImage downloadabe from: https://kdenlive.org/download
I just tested with 17.08.3 Appimage on Mint 18.2, using a 1920x1080 .mov file. Same issue occurs: once the Stablizing progress bar reaches the end, Kdenlive crashes. How do I get the backtrace log for an Appimage, or will it matter with this issue?
Terminal output while running vid.stab from Kdenlive 17.08.3 Appimage: [swscaler @ 0x7f82b8a083c0] Warning: data is not aligned! This can lead to a speedloss /tmp/.mount_kdenlizBDtsA/AppRun: line 55: 7823 Floating point exceptionkdenlive --config kdenlive-appimagerc $@
VideoStab with right click on the clip (Videostab2) is deprecated. Use VidStab under the effects. More details here: https://www.mltframework.org/plugins/FilterVideostab2/
Videostab2 was removed. Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 20.08.0 to see if there are any packaging issues https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/ If the problem/issue doesn't occur when using the AppImage, then it's your configuration or packaging. WARNING: Version 20.08.0 has a new project type that is not backwards compatible... so you won't be able to use older versions to open new files.
