Konqueror Startup Screen

When I start Konqueror it does not show the icons that are assigned to the various choices:
  Home Folder
  Network Folders
  Wastebin
  Bookmarks
I have checked the image locations, such as
file:///usr/share/icons/breeze/places/32/user-home.svg. They are accessible. I can open the pictures; they show up correctly. Apparently there is no command that causes Konqueror to open the icons.

Fixed meanwhile, khtml was missing support for SVG files.
