Description Ian Whitfield 2017-04-22 11:19:50 UTC
Do not know why this happens and it does not seem to compact the DB at all.
Comment 1 Jarosław Staniek 2017-04-24 10:29:44 UTC
Confirmed as specific for the AppImage version of Kexi.
Comment 2 Jarosław Staniek 2017-04-24 10:30:36 UTC
Possible workaround: use other Kexi version just for the needs of compacting, then move back to using the AppImage version.
Comment 3 Jarosław Staniek 2017-04-24 10:42:15 UTC
To reproduce:

1. Open a .kexi project file
2. Go to Tools -> Compact Database
3. Expected: compacting is executed, Kexi reports the result

Actual result: Unknown error

The kdb3_sqlite3_dump app (from KDb) is not included in the AppImage.
Comment 4 Jarosław Staniek 2017-06-15 20:27:31 UTC
We're delaying this fix until AppImages are back.
Comment 5 Jarosław Staniek 2018-12-15 23:18:20 UTC
