Description Nikolai Malykh 2017-04-19 16:55:21 UTC
Embedded thumbnails are removed if you try to edit DateTimeOriginal tag value. I can not attach files because they are too large.
Comment 1 caulier.gilles 2017-04-19 17:58:48 UTC
Sound like a RAW file metadata problem with Exiv2.

I recommend to not enable RAW file support in metadata settings panel, and to use XMP sidecar instead.

Can you reproduce the dysfunction using digiKam 6.0.0 pre-release bundle
available here :

I cannot do it because ¨write RAW¨ option is disabled.

Can you please try again if the problem is solved. Writing to RAW files can enabled again and we also have a new Time Adjust tool.
