Full text description for the event is not shown

refer to the event at 8pm, it does not show the full text, as in the even description ends with ... with no way of knowing the full event text from the plasma clock calendar

How to enable display of Events in Digital Clock/Calendar widget? Is it implemented? What package needs to be installed?

Distribution: KDE neon Developer Edition Unstable Branches
KDE Plasma Version: 5.10.90
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.37.0
Qt Version: 5.9.1
Kernel Version: 4.10.0-32-generic
Comment 2 Christoph Feck 2017-09-19 23:37:09 UTC
There is no separate package, but plasma-workspace and plasma-framework must be compiled against the libKF5CalendarEvents dependency. Then events can be enabled as a "Calendar Plugin" in Digital Clock Setting.

Can confirm this bug/wish - if you want to see 'PIM Events Plugin' - you can install 'kdepim-addons' package and enable it in 'Calendar' settings.

[Digital Clock] Add tooltip for agenda items with too long description

Also, when an appointment has no description, let the title use both lines of text,
and center them vertically if it doesn't need both lines.
The tooltip is only enabled if the title is actually elided, otherwise it could be bothersome to have.
