Description robert marshall 2017-04-17 10:55:22 UTC
When amarok isn't playing and displaying the recently added albums - that list is always empty for me - in the local collection an added:<1w filter shows me 6 recently added albums so I'd expect to see them! The albums applet settings shows that I should be seeing 6 in that list (it's set to 6).

The only circumstance when there is something in recently added is when I insert a cd into the drive when (just) the cd is shown.

My suspicion is that there's a connection with this bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=364974 where cd tracks have weird last played time (so maybe weird added times) which is throwing things out for albums in the collection.

I was a tad puzzled what you were talking about until I remembered the Albums applet :-)
Is this on KDE 4.x or on Plasma 5.x? In the latter case I wouldn't be astonished to see plenty of bugs showing up due to the difference in platform...

Yes maybe I should have put the word applet in the subject and a few more times in the body than I did!

This is KDE 4.14.22

Thanks for the fast answer, changing back to unconfirmed, I have yet to test this (I guess it was not really fixed, or was it?)
Comment 4 robert marshall 2017-04-17 20:40:51 UTC
No it wasn't fixed - it's the webform which put two combo boxes beneath the comment box, one with 'unconfirmed' the other with 'fixed' and I knew which was going to win :-( nothing else in the fixed combo looked suitable so I just left it.

Thanks for restoring it back to unconfirmed. In this case there's only an unconfirmed one so I hope it stays!
