I'm using KDE Neon User with default Breeze theme and when taking a screenshot with the "Rectangular region" the selection cursor ('+') is barely visible in the dark (unselected) area. Using the same monitor and using Shutter, the cursor is more visible. Please improve the visibility.
Save button arrow > Preferences > Light Background for Rectangular Region
(In reply to Boudhayan Gupta from comment #1) > Save button arrow > Preferences > Light Background for Rectangular Region That helps. Thank you. I think i'll raise another wishlist: put Preferences somewhere other than "Save As" (!!) :) Honestly - i looked for preferences. Note i looked under the Handbook in Help which doesn't appear to mention this. Do i close this or someone else?
(In reply to Derek from comment #2) > Note i looked under > the Handbook in Help which doesn't appear to mention this. > It is in the Handbook, see https://docs.kde.org/stable5/en/kdegraphics/spectacle/ch04s02.html#idm46382834700880 Any suggestion how to make this option more visible in the docs?

Currently, the headings are in the same font (no bold etc). And being a typical user i flicked through and didn't thoroughly read the section that is clearly there. If you keep the existing text and include the screenshot - bold the headings. As the text appears to be the same, simply replacing what you have with the screenshot might suffice? Lastly, in that section - place at the top how to access the preferences. Whilst it is in the doco, it's buried somewhere earlier in the usage section. :)
(In reply to Burkhard Lueck from comment #6) > https://phabricator.kde.org/D5432 I'm pretty unfamiliar with the etiquette at this point. I can say "thanks" :) Is there anything else i should do? I'm pretty new to Linux and newer to 'bug' reporting. Do i close this? CAN i close it? Do i just sit quietly and you'll do the rest? Cheers.
This bug is marked resolved - invalid I'll commit the docbook update, nothing else to do for you thanks for reporting
