This affects version 5.9.4 (I cannot select this as versions numbers are only available up to 5.5.5). When I change the touchpad two-finger scrolling distance setting in the configuration dialog, hit Apply and test the settings in the Testing area, they do not seem to have any effect (same for settings like Reverse scrolling). However, the values are written correctly to touchpadrc and I can see the effect of the setting immediately when I test it in Firefox or a qt Application like Scribus. Only after I close the System Settings and open them again, the changed settings do show an effect.
Hello! This bug report concerns the Synaptics version of the Touchpad page, which is no longer supported in Plasma 6. Can you please see if the issue still happens when using Libinput? If so, please change the status back to "REPORTED." If not, go ahead and change it to "RESOLVED FIXED", or let the bot do it automatically after a month. Thanks!
