The connections can't be edited with the connection editor. No matter what field is modified, the Apply button remains grey. And the OK button doesn't save the changes. But nmtui works fine. This happens in both of my computers, both are Arch Linux with KDE. There are other people encountering the same problem: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=224683
Git commit 47599d8b03e5e7b4978e19acb90da38a01d41aff by Jan Grulich. Committed on 10/04/2017 at 06:11. Pushed by grulich into branch 'Plasma/5.9'. Set auto-negotiate to true for newly created wired connections NM switched to opposite value, but using that requires to set speed and duplex type, which is something users don't know and mostly they won't know what to set M +9 -0 editor/connectioneditor.cpp M +9 -1 kcm/kcm.cpp https://commits.kde.org/plasma-nm/47599d8b03e5e7b4978e19acb90da38a01d41aff
I'm sorry for causing this problem, as a workaround you just need to check "Allow auto-negotiation" in wired tab. I made this default again.
