I want to play music with the lid closed. I expect that clicking the battery icon in the system tray and un-checking "Enable Power Management" will accomplish this, but it does not. I can go into power management settings and un-check "Butten events handling", but I would rather not have to do this. Un-checking "Enable Power Management" from the system tray should do this.
The name of this option has changed since the bug report and I think more accurately reflects what it does. To continue playing music when you close your laptop lid you will need to change the "On AC Power" settings (or whichever applies) to When laptop lid closed "Turn off screen". Can you please confirm this solution is appropriate for your situation, thanks.
