Created attachment 104901 [details] Screenshots of FolderView settings tabs with highlighted misplacements of items. Hello, this is a visual/design bug. If I go to FolderView settings this is what I get in the "Wallpaper" tab [see first image in attachment]. In the "Locations" and "Icons" tabs, however, drop menus or list items are misaligned, as you can see from second and third images in the attachment, making the view inconsistent. Hoping this is easy to fix, I also suggest to make use of the full window, whose space as you can see is mostly wasted. Thanks for your attention. Keep making plasma beautiful! :D
I forgot to mention that I am using Neon 5.9.2
That's a limitation of QtQuick Controls because it always adds margins to the right. In the first two controls we use their label whereas in the others we add custom stuff (a ComboBox). I made a patch https://phabricator.kde.org/D1029 a while ago but it caused various breakages which is why I haven't submitted it yet.
That explains "Location" misalignment, yet the "Icons" one could be fixed aligning to the center (as you can see in "Wallpaper" everything is aligned to center, yet in "Icons" it is to the left). Is there anything we could do for the Qtquick part you were referring to?
Sorry, I only read half your bug report, please submit one issue per bug report, please. The "icons" part could surely be aligned, yes.
Sorry I thought it was the same. Should I repost?
