Description Zelda911911 2017-04-06 08:33:35 UTC
There is a rectangle of pixels that follow the brush cursor where ever it goes when using my Wacom tablet. I do not have this problem when I am using the program only on my laptop; only when using the program on my wacom's screen.

Can you add a screenshot or photo? I have no idea what you might be talking about.

Weird, I added a photo as an attachment when I posted this not sure why it isn't showing up. :(

Bug photo

The rectangle follows the cursor always including when I use a mouse.

Does this also happen if you disable opengl in krita/settings/configure krita/display? Does it go away if you select another cursor type instead of brush outline?
Comment 5 Zelda911911 2017-04-12 03:32:45 UTC
No it does not go away when I disable opengl. The rectangle that follows the cursor is still there when I change to cursor type; it exists on all cursor types.
Comment 6 Halla Rempt 2017-04-12 07:39:33 UTC
Then it cannot be something that Krita paints. Maybe you've got some weird utility software or windows feature enabled that tries to give extra cursor feedback, but fails doing that if the cursor is over an opengl window...
Comment 7 Zelda911911 2017-04-12 16:55:55 UTC
If that was the case though wouldn't this be occurring on other tools besides the brush one? Every single other tool in krita works fine. Also it would probably be affecting my other digital art programs and it does not.
The only thing I have installed that could mess with the tablet and cursor response is the drivers for the Wacom tablet. I know I downloaded the correct one for that and it is also up to date

Either way I am going to remove programs from my computer and see if it does any good.

Hi,

Can you check whether this still occurs with the latest version of Krita, 3.3.2 -- and if so, whether changing the renderer to Angle makes a difference?
