Description vektorikedm 2017-04-04 06:48:44 UTC
I have never had a problem before with Krita until tonight I could not move my brush when making a stroke, and the marks I made would not show up until I changed the color in the color wheel. Even then there would be no pressure sensitivity on line weight and opacity.

Argh... You probably got a Windows update? There's an update doing the rounds that breaks the opengl canvas. I haven't had it myself yet, so I cannot figure out a workaround. Please tell me the exact type of your display chip (gpu) -- it's probably something like Intel HD 3000 or Intel HD 4000, and the version number of the driver (you can find that in Windows' device manager).

Thanks so far! I'm not too tech-savvy so hopefully what i say can help to a degree
I have Intel HD 4000 along with Radeon HD 8600/8700M and the version number is 10.0.10240. I couldn't find the number in my device manager so I tried to look it up on google. I'm in the latest for Windows 10.

Is there a way I could possibly revert back to an older version of windows before it crashed or am I screwed in that sense?

Woulld I have to wait until the next windows update for it to fix possibly?

If you've got two gpu's, you probably can by right-clicking on the krita.exe file choose which gpu to use, and if you selected the radeon, opengl should work again.
