The bug is at the beginning at creating / opening file, performance log is uncaught. This file taken from %TEMP% folder. Dunno this help or not

When creating new document or open document using wacom cintiq 13HD monitor, krita not responding. This not happened when create new document / open document at main monitor (krita window at main monitor).

After create / open document from main monitor, then drag krita window into wacom display, krita can handle when create new / open document.

This bug only appears when open krita, set into wacom display, create / open document, then crashed / not responding.

When create / open document at main monitor, drag into wacom display, create / open document again, krita not crashed.

All driver is updated, tried krita 3.1.0 - 3.1.2, same = crashed.

After couple of trying, changing my wacom cintiq 13 HD as main display makes me can create / open document. Then try to create / open document into my secondary monitor, krita freeze / not responding. Same as when my wacom cintiq as secondary display.

The conclusion is, when create / open document at secondary display, krita freeze / not responding.

I can't caught any log file, sorry

Which version of Windows are you on? Could you try to follow https://docs.krita.org/Dr._Mingw_debugger and get a crash log for me? With Windows 7 and a 13" cintiq hybrid companion as secondary monitor, I cannot reproduce the issue.

The problem has gone. Dunno what happen, krita just fixed itself, lol.

I just set my wacom as main display and used it for a couple of days (after I reported the problem is on secondary display). Then today I test it again, problem gone! I can create document in my secondary display.

This is weird, seriously. I got this problem at the first try, maybe 3 weeks ago (first try krita and wacom cintiq) and stuck at it. Until I decided to using linux mint. Back to windows again because hidpi on linux is unfriendly.

If I got this problem again, I will open it again.

Also about Dr._Mingw_debugger, I try it when issue occurred, but no crash log recorded.

Btw Thanks,

Okay, got the problem and temporary solution.

When I disable OpenGL in settings, krita run without problem and otherwise.

My PC :
Intel core i7 6600
NVidia GTX 970
Ram 8 GB
Windows 10 Enterprise

Currently still downloading debug.zip from https://krita.org/en/item/krita-3-1-2-released/, will update when I got the crash log.

Can I change the bug title? I think the problem is not about wacom cintiq, but secondary monitor

I can only provide video about the crashes
here : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B95EGylZORnnSnVQdHFtOUR6RDQ/view?usp=sharing

Sorry for my English.

I'm sorry, the video doesn't help a lot. Can you try what happens when you run krita explicitly on the Intel video card?
Comment 8 damarind 2017-06-30 07:27:24 UTC
It's been so long, but I just realize, the problem is when two monitor using different size of text, apps (Display Settings). In my case, my main monitor is 125%, and my wacom set into 100%. That was the problem. When I change my wacom into 125%, no problem appears. I don't know this basic problem with dual monitor or krita can't handle it. At least I know what happen and can tell you whats the problem. Thanks in advance.

Weird, though, because I recently tested krita on a surface pro with an external monitor attached. Each monitor had a different scaling, too, and there were no problems with that (other than that the toolkit we use, Qt, does weird things to the titlebars).
Comment 10 damarind 2017-07-02 05:41:10 UTC
Weird, ouh make sure krita is on the secondary monitor?
