Created attachment 104858 [details] ZFS paritions should be blacklisted? ZFS is a popular way software RAID solution that combines many hard drives into a single mount point, typically with some data parity checking. In a typical install a user has dozens of drives often with volume sizes in excess of a few hundred TB. In KDE, and Dolphin, in particular this gets really annoying, because all of them appear as separate drives. On my box you might get 60 notifications... It would be cool if there was some way to blacklist the ZFS file system. I'm attaching a screenshot, you can see that the members are identified, by the file system ("zfs_member"), with a long list of "StoragePod" items.
Solid doesn't properly detect ZFS raid members. They should be marked as 'usage=Raid'. Do you use UDisks2?
And please provide your KDE frameworks version.
(In reply to Emmanuel Pescosta from comment #1) > Solid doesn't properly detect ZFS raid members. They should be marked as > 'usage=Raid'. > > Do you use UDisks2? I got the udisks-2.1.8 and plasma-5.29.0, running Gentoo.
