Description Petros 2017-04-03 13:13:46 UTC
I work with git master version of KDevelop and I have trouble working with toolviews. I have open toolviews at both sides of the IDE (in the right side 3 of them opened with Ctrl), but when I close and reopen kdevelop, I always the left toolview closed (but it's button is grey - like pressed) and the right toolviews are replaced (always) by "Snipsets".

Kind of the same thing happens when I return to "Code" from "Debug". I have my toolviews open when I am in code and when I return again the toolviews aren't replaced; rather they are closed but their buttons are "grayed". It's like Kdevelop knows that I had them opened, but for some reason it won't open them again.

The same problem with toolviews disappearing when I return from "git commit" and closing the review window.

Anyway, you got the point. Toolviews can't be "locked" or being remembered when KDevelop .... does *what* actually? There are diferrent cases with the same output.

Any news on this?

KDevelop still can't remember and restore the last active toolviews, ie when I close and open another project or if KDevelop crashes and I reopen it.
