Test file

Dear Maintainer,

I have discovered a spell checker regression in the Kate Part, shipped with applications 16.08.3. It underlines words which are perfectly valid which makes it unreliable.

I have attached a test file written in Slovenian (sl_SI). It contains two control lines which should be underlined, everything rest should be valid. Kate 16.08.3 underlines too much (see screenshot), LibreOffice 5.2.6.2 on the same system passes the test. Kate 4.14.2 on another system also passes the test. The problem was discovered using Lokalize.

Best Regards,
Andrej Mernik

Possibly related: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=386611? However, I'm not sure if this is the same issue as Kile is underlining both too much and too little: it fails to underline words which are incorrect, as well as underlining words which are correct.

Are you able to reproduce this with a more recent version of Kate? Since you're using Debian Testing, hopefully the version available to you is now a bit newer; can you re-test?

In Kate 17.08.3 (Kubuntu 18.04) the problem seems to be fixed, but in Kate 17.08.3 (Debian Unstable) the problem is still present. Same words get underlined as in 16.08.3.

Since moving to most recent versions of Kate I cannot reproduce this anymore. I'm therefore marking this as resolved.
