Created attachment 104769 [details] Screenshot of zero tracks I cannot play Audio CDs in Amarok on openSUSE Tumbleweed. It seems a CD can be detected but no tracks are enumerated and it cannot be played. Steps to reproduce: 1. Insert CD 2. Open Amarok 3. Try to add CD to playlist Expected results: CD is added to playlist and can be played Actual results: CD does not play
This is sadly related to another bug that needs to be solved first. In the mean time ripping a CD with another tool like K3b is the only workaround I am afraid :-(
Created attachment 114608 [details] Log of amarok --debug on detection of a CD I can confirm that this affects me as well. Out of curiosity, what is the prerequisite bug?

Some CD playing bugs fixed in the last couple of days in commits https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/amarok/-/commit/212b693c210f673e9dac91d4c62995e30ad5ecbd and https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/amarok/-/commit/a30f5c9553e1e59e66196df5a1b96d3d84bd3d27 ; the original report has been fixed probably with the former. In the case of the attached debug log, it suggests that audiocd kioslave is not installed in system and installing it should fix cd playing. The problems reported here should be fixed now with one of those three mentioned things, so closing this report. (The linked bug 320356 remains still unresolved, though, but by what I'm reading, it's not likely related to this one)
