Description Dmitry 2017-03-26 08:56:39 UTC
KDE Plasma lockscreen stops to respond keyboard input when second monitor with screen mirroring enabled. Keys like caps_lock etc work, but I can't enter password in password field. Only way to enter password and unlock screen is unplug second monitor. Tested with Nvidia official driver on Gentoo system.

Also, when screen mirroring is disabled you also can't enter password in lockscreen on your second monitor with same reason. Only main monitor receive keys input.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start KDE Plasma
2. Connect second monitor (in my case it is DVI main monitor plus HDMI second monitor)
3. Configure screen mirroring between two monitors
4. Lock screen (press ctrl+alt+l)
5. When trying to enter password you will notice, that you can't enter your password to unlock screen.
6. Unplug second monitor to be able to enter password and unlock your screen.

kde-plasma/kscreenlocker-5.8.5 is affected too.

Also reported in Gentoo bugtracker. Devs recommended to report upstream. https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=613552
