from what I can tell you can't render non-html tag html content.

I forwarded u mail that won't render for me as html for lack of html tags instead presenting as text.
It works fine here. Do you switch to html mode with? by default we show it as plain text
Turned on "html sidebar" that's bugged- reported it yesterday-, images didn't load with html render. Do whatever you like.
