Before clicking

In the pane of "Volume (keyframable)" audio effect, there is an item saying "Default". When clicked, it changes into unresponsive white rectangle. Nothing else happens. Clicking anywhere else displays the "Default" text again.

Images attached (couldn't take screenshots).

Cannot reproduce, maybe related to qt version or mlt? Please post them...

Not related to MLT. It happens always, even on completely fresh project - just adding a single WAV to timeline and adding "Volume (keyframable)" to it is enough - 100% reproducible.

Versions listed in "Help / About":
KDE Frameworks 5.18.0
Qt 5.5.1 (built against 5.5.1)
The xcb windowing system

Note that I am on XUbuntu and using the offical ppa:kdenlive/kdenlive-stable

Mine are:

KDE Frameworks 5.32.0
Qt 5.8.0 (built against 5.8.0)
The xcb windowing system

Maybe you could try the appimage version to see if it happens or if it is a PPA/Ubuntu issue?

I tried the AppImage version 16.12.2. Indeed, the problem is not reproducible there and clicking on "Default" displays the correct selector with a single "Default" item.

Also, the whole Kdenlive interface looks SIGNIFICANTLY different in Appimage version than in Ubuntu PPA version (even when switching both so the same Kdenlive theme).
