This picture shows the screenshot of problem.

Im using linux mint 18.1 KDE edition. Im using usb thethering from my phone (xiaomi redmi 2 prime) to connect internet. The problem begins after my laptop going to sleep, after my laptop waking up, the icon at the panel shows it trying connect to my phone (on the phone already disconnected), thus I activate again the usb thethering from my phone. The icon shows it already connected but after I check using browser, it cannot connect to the internet.

What's the output from "nmcli general status"? Does it say you are connected?

Assuming this is no longer a problem since I didn't get any response.
