When I want a toolview to be wide in order not to srcoll sideways, I usually undock it. But window manager doesn't treat it like a normal window - eg I may want to set it as "Keep above other" while I debug or run various analysis. So it there a way for a toolview to be undocked as another KDevelop's window on my desktop?
I'm assuming they are qdockwidgets. as far as i know, qdockwidgets cant be turned into qmainwindows.

@Petros: Which tool view? Maybe we should rather re-layout this particular tool view so it fits to contents?
(In reply to Kevin Funk from comment #3) > @Petros: Which tool view? Maybe we should rather re-layout this particular > tool view so it fits to contents? Well it's not just one... I am thiniking of Valgrind outputs, Disassembly/Registers and of course Documentation. It would be nice if they could act as seperate windows if one wishes so.
I am talkiing about something like this: http://lh5.ggpht.com/_feJtUp7IGuI/ShVuDHT__oI/AAAAAAAAAIw/jxd0y4dCYFA/image_thumb[1].png?imgmax=800 Ok, you get the point. While the code and some various toolviews are docked, a special toolview -eg Documentation, or something else you want to view with ease and at once, without scrolling and resizing- will be a second kdevelop window.
I'd like to see this, too, because of bug # . :)
Sorry! Bug #381310
